I am a Survivor, and I’d like to share My Story with you.
This is an ongoing series I am writing… to share my story of childhood sexual abuse and survival. I am not a professional by any means; I am only sharing my experiences and how I survived the trauma of molestation. I am sharing this very private part of my life, publicly, in the hopes that my experiences will help other victims overcome their demons; that they will know and understand they are not alone; and they will know it is not their fault.
(No names will ever be mentioned in any of these posts due to privacy. I ask you to please respect this, and remember that this is my story– it is about me and my survival and not about my abuser. No post will ever hint to a name or what the relationship to my abuser was. That person no longer exists so please do not ask questions regarding any of these things.)
