My Bucket List

You would be correct in assuming I’ve stolen this idea from the movie…lol. I thought it was a pretty cool idea, what can I say?!

My bucket list includes one thing (or place) for each year of my life, and I’ll add to it each year on my birthday! (March 29th if you want to send me gifts…lol) ;)

What’s on MY list?

1. Visit the Holy Land for no less than a week, two or three would be better, and get baptized in the Jordan.

2. Spend a week on Italy’s Amalfi Coast… swimming in the Mediterranean and eating REAL Italian food.  I ♥ Italy.

3. Spend a week or two in Rome and tour the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Peter’s Square, Ancient Rome and Colosseum.

4. Spend a week in Paris and visit The Louvre

5. Take a cruise to the Virgin Islands and spend a week doing nothing but enjoying the beautiful beaches.

6. Take a cruise to Jamaica and do the same as in the Virgin Islands.

7. Go to the Grand Canyon and take a mule trip.

8. Go see Niagara Falls.

9. Visit New York City, see a show or two on Broadway, and climb the Statue of Liberty.

10. Spend a week, or two, in the land down under (Australia).

11. Vacation in Alaska and witness (and get photos) of Aurora Borealis.

12. Go on a Whale Watching Excursion.

13. Meet every member of the band 3 Doors Down, especially lead-man Brad Arnold. I ♥ 3DD

14. Visit Washington D.C. and tour the Smithsonian Museums, the National Monuments and Memorials, the White House (but only under a different administration than the current one..HA), and read the original Declaration of Independence.

15. Spend a week at DisneyWorld and Sea World.

16. Spend at week in California and Universal Studios Hollywood.

17. Go to a Super Bowl game and sit on the 50 yard line ground level, up close and personal. (I’d love to go to this season’s Super Bowl at Cowboy’s Stadium in Arlington, Texas. But I don’t have an extra $20K laying around for those tickets…lol)

18. Buy season tickets and go to all the Alabama Crimson Tide home games, as well as the SEC Championship and Nat’l Championship games. :D

19. Attend a Beth Moore Conference when close to my area.

20. Attend a Women of Faith event when close to my area.

21. Go to a Woman’s Missionary Union annual meeting.

22. Take scuba lessons and go diving in the Bahamas. (Must learn to swim first…lol)

23. Build my dream house; a Victorian replica of the Halliwell Manor from the tv series Charmed.  I love that house, which happens to be a real house located in Los Angeles.  It is beautiful and it is roomy, and I want to fill it with kids… not more kids for me, but foster kids, kids with no homes, kids who need someone to look after them, kids who have been abused… kids who need a chance.  (I’m sure this will never happen, but it never hurts to dream!)

24.  Spend a week in Egypt, visiting and touring the pyramids.

25.  Learn to fly an airplane, then take a flight over some remote areas not accessible any other way.  Like a volcano… above a hurricane… the Bermuda Triangle

26.  Learn to play piano.

27.  Learn to use my Canon 20D EOS SLR properly, and have a photo or two actually published.

28.  Buy an RV and travel around the US, visiting one city or ‘destination’ in each of the continental states with Hubs and all five kids.

29.  Have something I’ve written published (outside of the blogging platform).

30.  Record a worship CD in a real recording studio.

31.  Meet all of the bloggers I read on a daily basis, live and in person

32. Attend a BlogHer Conference (or other fun blogging conference)

33. Start a NPO to help feed and house (and share the love of Christ with) the homeless people in my county

34. Grow that NPO to every county (or district) in my state

35. Expand the NPO to include every state in the Union

36. Witness a solar eclipse

37. View the solar system through the Hubble telescope :) (you know that’s way cool!)

38………..
